Uphill/Downhill
Tab
This form displays the
trajectory of your arrow for uphill & downhill shots. The last
point on the graph represents where the target is relative to the
shooter. Given a slant (measured) range of 80 yards and a downhill
angle of 4 degrees, the target would be located 79.8 yards away on the
horizontal plane and 16.74 feet down on the vertical plane. This
form reports how much you would miss the center of the target if you
were to set your sight for the Slant Range (3.8" high for this
example) and Horizontal Range (2.8" high in this example). The
Adjusted Range field reports where you should set your sight to hit
target center for the selected Range and Angle.
You can select any range
between 1 and 100 yards/meters and any angle between -80 degrees and +80
degrees. The Generate List generates a list of sight settings for
ranges in 5 yard/meter increments and 5 degree increments. If you
have Excel installed on your computer, you can export a list of
uphill-downhill adjustments in 5 degree by 5 yard/meter increments to an
Excel Workbook. |
